Enterprise Architecture governs the systems, data, integration, and control estate. Business Architecture defines the capabilities and value streams that estate exists to serve. We keep them distinct so technical decisions remain traceable to a business capability, and so business change is not quietly constrained by whatever the current systems happen to allow.
